Bought one in cocobolo. I had a couple questions for Ed at the time and he was awesome about answering them! A couple of notes about my experience. I love the stem now but I wound up doing a couple things first. The first time I tried it I hated the taste. I haven’t read about anyone else with that problem so I thought maybe I didn’t like some volatile compound in the wood. I put it in the oven at 425f for about five minutes. After that the taste was much less intense and has since faded to undetectable. Second, I wound up reversing the ss bowl. With the notches at the end, the vapor was too diluted for my liking. It felt like leaving the carb open on my dynavap m7. It’s there because some people like it, but I don’t. So I just moved the screen to the same distance from the other end of the ss cylinder (1cm) and reversed it. Vapor density improved a lot. Maybe Ed should mention that option in his product description. It’s dead simple if you have the tool to remove/place the c-clip.

Definitely a must have for Solo III or any others. Smooth and much better with the heat then glass stems.

This butter works so well. I haven't had to use it on my stem yet, but I had an old Escape Pod from MFLB that was looking pretty old. The butter has made it look so much better!

Another great bowl, this fits snugly on my B1 precision woodwork as always. Thanks for another awesome addition to my collection.

My friends and I all have screwball vapes and the rubber handle eventually gets scratchy and gross looking. I ended up buying 3 additional as birthday presents for my friends. A quick note, standard electrical tape is the perfect width to wrap around the top of the handle interface to keep it from jiggling (above the metal part that is press fit, where the coil meets the braided cord). You’ll have to cut off the old wrap, just be careful and only cut away the shrink rubber part of the old handle and the rest is easy to do. A bit expensive but it’s a quality piece and worth it. I wish the finish wasn’t as contrasty (I prefer natural wood stain) but honestly it looks great either way.

by just how pretty mango wood is in person. I needed a head stand for my ZXL W/L head. This showed up in my search and I didn't have anything in this species. As usual, perfect function and lovely to boot. I'm quite happy (and want more mango wood pieces)

I love the black stem it looks very classy, as well as very functional I will say I didn’t notice a huge difference from the high airflow, but just being able to travel with the security of knowing my peace won’t break makes this worth every penny. Also while the shipping took a couple days it eventually got to my door in tiptop condition. Hope I have it for years to come.

Great quality, fits well in my Arizer Air Max. Would be cool to have some of the option like you have for Venty Stems.

Have exclusively used Ed’s TnT Bomb Ass Butter - Wood Finisher for the past few years on the Ed's wooden stems I have, the wooden parts and accessories of my dynavap, as well as my tiny might 2. The butter has helped keep these parts and devices looking like new!
