Its July and that time of year to introduce the 2024 WoodScents model. I wanted to do this year’s model to reflect the logs that inspired me over 15 years ago, The MyrtleZap, the Woodeez, & the Purple-Days. These devices were built differently back then but function was the same. They were all round and cylindrical quite a bit beefier also. I was always intrigued by the different species, how they worked, how they were put together. There have been a few changes since then, but the beauty of the wood has remained. So, here's this year’s model a sleek straight up and down body with a little detail to separate it itself, hope you all like what I have done.

It's that time of year again woot woot, did something different this year wanting to show another side of the WoodScents I hadn’t before. In doing so there are a lot of faces giving the individual character each species has a unique look. I am really excited about the new 2023’ model.

There have been a couple of slight changes here and there. Replaced the air path filter disc with a form fit titanium mesh screen and replaced the WS tip with a titanium mesh screen. Another upgrade will be a digital variable voltage power supply replacing the analog controller.

This species has always been a favorite of mine. It’s the Royal wood of Jamaica. This is a magical wood with a variety of hidden colors trying to show off. It’s a trip, just holding it in your hand and slowing turning it in the light you’ll see silver/green/blue/red/purple gosh this is truly a vibrant lively species. Its surely a showstopper and one you’ll love showing off.

The WoodScents air path floats so to speak seated on top of a high temperature oring. Using medical-grade Titanium and our patented installation allows for the least amount of heat retention and metal to wood heat transfer will ensure the longevity of the unit. Be advised, as with all my work, it’s natural as Mother Nature intended. Each piece is hand made in the USA here in my home state of Mississippi! There may be voids, worm holes, live edges and raw features. Each piece is unique and no two are the same. The piece you receive most likely will not be the same as what is pictured but will be a beautifully unique handcrafted unit.
