Arizer Solo 1, 2, & 3 Wood Vapor Stem
Arizer Solo 1, 2, & 3 Wood Vapor Stem
I began making the Ed's Wood Arizer Solo Stem as an alternative to the stock glass vapor stems that come with the Arizer Solo. Measure in at 4” in length at just a little over a 1/2” OD to fit snug and secure in the unit. These will fit all 3 Solo devices. Each has 4 slots to provide for better airflow. A 1/2” screen is installed with a retaining clip over the top, so it never falls out. Being wood they are virtually indestructible. All pieces have a 14mm tapered mouthpiece making them usable as a water pipe attachment!
My Wood Arizer Solo Stems are made from 4 different species, African Blackwood, Nicaraguan Cocobolo, & Guatemalan Granadillo. Blackwood is by far one of my favorite species to work. The finish is the finest of all I feel. Cocobolo is my second in line of favorites with so much life and vibrance. Granadillo is a choice wood that reminds me a lot of Hawaiian Koa but much denser.
I have designed and am making all stems now with a completely new wood/bushing connection. Making it easier with less hassle for cleaning & maintaining its longevity. Each stem comes with a few extra screens and now 3 high temperature orings. There is a small groove in the wood shaft that presses into the stainless-steel bushing that holds an oring. The shaft is then pressed into the SS bushing and held in place securely with a compression fit. Having the oring allows the user to simple slide off the bushing to easily remove the screen while leaving the clip in place. You can then take a cotton swab dipped in high proof alcohol and swab out the inside of the stem and bushing. Let it dry, place a new screen under the clip, the oring should still be in good shape. If not, simply take the old one off and slide a new one on. Press the shaft back into the bushing for a solid fit.
Please do remember, these wooden stems should never be washed, soaked, submerged or dipped in any liquid ever! This will cause the wood to swell and may crack, surely it will discolor, and neither is good!
Be advised, as with all my work its natural as Mother Nature intended. There may be voids, worm holes, live edges and raw features. Each piece is unique and no two are the same. The piece you receive most likely will not be exactly the same as what is pictured but will be a beautifully unique handcrafted unit.

I received my Blackwood stem about a week ago. This is the best solo accessory ever! Bigger bowl better airflow, and it’s drop proof..Beautiful wood and remarkable craftsmanship. I only wish I bought one sooner instead of wasting my money on the glass ones. Thanks Ed
Thats what I like to see, if you are happy I am thrilled thats what its all about. Hope you enjoy it for a long time to come. Am here for you if needed, take care.
These are much better than the glass stems that come with the vape. The wood is gorgeous!
Hello, love hearing this thank you so much. If I can do anything else for you pls let me know. Hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.
After trying an endless amount of vapor stems for my Solo 3, I finally came across this beautiful piece made by Ed. Flavour, cooling and durability are what's most important for me.
The vapor taste has a smooth woody undertone which I absolutely love! The long stem cools down the vapor a bit. The screen filter allows for higher airflow when compared to most of my other stems made for Arizer (those with 4-5 holes). I'm also not afraid to bring it with me on trips, because there is no glass shattering to be worried about!
Cleaning the stem (scrubbing the inside with a Q-tip, lightly damped in ISO) takes a little more time than my glass pieces, but for me it's all part of the ritual.
IMO this stem shines the most when using the Solo 3 in session mode. The stem seems like it takes a little longer to heat up but also allows me to prolong a vaping session for several extra minutes when compared to my glass pieces. Therefore, this is my favorite stem when I'm among friends where sessions easily takes up 15 minutes+. Drawing vapor slow and steady makes for some smooth, enjoyable hits - even on higher temperatures!
Ed's TnT vapor stem is what completes my Solo 3 and I can't live without it. Out of all my stems (3D, high flow, rocket etc.), this has been my favorite one to use so far. The feel and beautiful finish of the wood is like icing on the cake. I even decided to get Ed's TnT Blackwood WPA as well so I can have both in rotation. Also stopped combustion completely shortly after when the first stem arrived, so there's that ;)
Thank you Ed for your wonderful work and making these beautiful pieces of art!
Wow brother you said a mouthful hitting all the advantages of these stems and sharing how it has worked for you, I am so thrilled youre so happy with it. Thats what I love about what I am able to do. I just heard from a user the other day his stem had outlasted his device from way back. So happy to hear that it has helped kick combustion also thats a big deal thanks for letting my work be part of that. Appreciate you am here for you anytime anyhow. Wish you well and all the best.
The stem is very well made and actually has better air flow than the glass stem that comes with the solo. I also was trying to get away from glass on the water pipe adaptor part because I have had issue with glass on glass adaptors causing cracking or fractures in a glass water pipe. Works great!!
Right on, thats what I was hoping to hear. Appreciate the kind words and you letting us know how well its performing for you. Hope it does for a long time to come. If I can do anything else pls let me know.
Half amount of herbs needed, while it feels like more has been used 😁
Thats what I like to hear, thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoy it for a logn time to come.
